Ganesha (by kMuru)
The ever evolving street art scene in Melbourne. Although this beautiful rendition of the Hindu elephant god Ganesha was done a year ago, it is a great example of the diversity and multicultural influence in the Melbourne arts scene.

Over the years, I’ve been documenting the arts scene in famous laneways (Hosier Lane provides an amazing number of frequently changing street art) and also in various suburbs where there is an active street art scene. Often any wall presents a blank canvas to the artist so pockets of interesting art pieces can be found by just going on a walkabout.
